SUMMER LUNCHEON
SOUTH DAKOTA DEFENSE LAWYERS
ASSOCIATION
South Dakota Defense
Lawyers Association held
its Annual Summer Luncheon on Friday, June 22, 2007, during the
State Bar Convention. Over 20 people were in attendance.
Charles "Chuck" H. Cole, a Shareholder at Schuyler, Roche, and Zwirner in Chicago,
spoke about DRI and its relationship with State and Local
Defense Organizations such as SDDLA and gave a short
presentation entitled "How Not To Lose Your Case During Voir Dire."
His article with the same title can be found in the most recent
newsletter sent to all members in June.
SDDLA President Craig Pfeifle updated
everyone on the status of SDDLA. SDDLA Member and Past
President Tom Welk also gave a short presentation about the Trial
Academy and SDDLA's donation to the Academy.
